My wife and I have two adult daughters, and we live in Columbus, Ohio, with two cats, and a dog. In my spare time, I enjoy long distance bicycle touring, race walking, and volunteering with The Adapted Adventure Sports Coalition – an organization which assists the disabled in enjoying outdoor activities. I am a PSIA-certified Level I adapted ski instructor.
Ryan Deyoung, Esq.
I began my legal career in 2010 working as an attorney for a non-profit law clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, assisting individuals facing a range of housing-related legal matters including unlawful discrimination, foreclosure, and eviction.
Since joining Marshall D. Cohen, LLC, I have greatly enjoyed building on my prior experiences as a law student extern in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio, a public interest attorney, and educator, to help a wide range of individuals understand how the bankruptcy code can be used as powerful tool to help them protect what they need and regain control of their financial lives.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin, and I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. I now reside in Columbus, Ohio with my wife, two children, two cats, and their dog Max. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music with my wife, planning camping trips with our son, spending time with our preschool daughter, and playing my cello.
